The Evektor EV-55 Outback is a Czech-built, twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed for utility and cargo transportation, as well as passenger transport. It was developed by Evektor-Aerotechnik and first flew in 2011. It has a maximum takeoff weight of 5,700 kg and can carry up to 9 passengers or 3,000 kg of cargo. The EV-55 has a range of up to 2,790 km and can fly at a maximum speed of 423 km/h. It is equipped with modern avionics, including a glass cockpit and a weather radar system. The aircraft is well suited for operations in remote areas or rough terrain due to its short takeoff and landing capabilities. It is also environmentally friendly, with low noise levels and emissions.
